📣Congratulations to Leo “LD” Ventra, the Youth Advisory Committee’s 2025-2026 Fundraiser of the Year and recipient of a $2,000 scholarship towards furthering his education after high school.Leo just completed his junior year at Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences and his first year with the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC).Leo demonstrated outstanding community engagement by coordinating a meeting with leadership at Citterio to share the mission of YAC and explain how funding would support local nonprofit organizations.Founded in Italy in 1878, Citterio is a family-owned company that opened its state-of-the-art prosciutto facility in Freeland, PA, in 2016. Today, it is the largest prosciutto production facility in the United States.
