The purpose of the organization is to provide a multifaceted approach to addressing issues facing Grandparent and Kinship Care families. Among the activities are:
- Provide financial assistance for legal services to qualified grandparent/kinship care families wishing to adopt or gain custody
- Provide sponsorship and growth of support groups
- Offer an annual GRG Conference with legal experts and service providers to help with GRG.
- To advocacte for the growth of regional and statewide organizations to replicate our services
- To advocate for needed legislation to assist GAG/Kinship care families.
